Like here is what I have for my rogue but it also doesn’t use items and only uses abilities - /cast [modifier:shift] Ambush; Premeditation. #showtooltip /use [mod:shift] Adamantite Grenade /stopmacro [mod:shift] /cast Mongoose Bite (Rank 5) Thanks for the feedback, ill try when i get home! You’ll need to unbind them if you want to use them as macro modifiers. This is what i have in general for most of them. /cast [mod:shift] [target=party1] Blessing of Freedom; [mod:alt] [target=party2] Blessing of Freedom; Blessing of Freedom. this works but not as intended. When there's no mod it casts on party 1 when i shift mod it does self cast and alt mod doesn't work at all. This is the same with BoP, Sac, ect.Since P2 dropped all of my shift modifier macros has haven’t worked. The [mod:shift] macros work fine but the [nomod] lines don’t. Not sure what is happening I’ve been using these macros since the beginning of TBC and they have been fine. Anyone else having this issue? Change them to [nomod:shift]. This is effecting everyone.The only personal point of differentiation is that I don’t like using mod: in my macros, and instead prefer to set my action bar keybinds to use the modifiers, then play the macros I want into those locations. Example, action bar 1 is key bound “Q E R F SHIFT Q, SHIFT E, SHIFT R, SHIFT F, CTRL Q, CTRL E, CTRL R, CTRL F” which is 12 actions. If there isn't anyone with the name you filled in in range, or you have no focus target it won't do anything. To make the macro do something else when you hold down a modifier key (shift, ctrl or alt) we're gonna add [mod:shift], [mod:ctrl] or [mod:alt].you do not need a macro for this at all. The "self cast" option is in the WoW interface itself. It already has the option there to press "alt" to self cast. You need to merely click it on.
